Manage Stock
The Manage Stock feature provides an interface for managing stock at various workstations within the robot's workspace. This section describes how to interact with workstations, add stock, and perform scans on scannable workstations.
Workspace Overview
The Manage Stock screen displays a visual representation of the robot's workspace, including all defined entities such as workstations and zero points. Workstations are interactive elements that can be selected to access further options.
Interacting with Workstations
Clicking on a workstation selects it and opens a context menu directly on the workspace. This menu provides actions relevant to the selected workstation.
Adding/Removing Stock
Some workstations are designated for simple stock addition or removal. The context menu for these workstations will offer options to add or remove stock. A visual indicator (a small symbol) appears on workstations that currently have stock assigned to them.
Scanning Stock
Certain workstations are designated as scannable. These allow for automated stock scanning. Selecting a scannable workstation and choosing the "Scan Stock" option will transition the screen to a dedicated scan view.
Scan Configuration
The scan view requires the following parameters to be configured before a scan can be initiated:
- Scan Package: Select the appropriate scan package. This defines the expected dimensions of the stock being scanned. It also defines the probe points needed for measuring the height of the stock.
- Scan Method: Choose the appropriate scan method. Available methods may vary depending on the type of stock.
Running a Scan
Once the scan parameters are configured, click Run to initiate the automated scan process.
During the scan, the system may present prompts if the scanned stock deviates from expected values. Additionally, the system may request manual adjustment of the resulting scan point to account for inaccuracies or specific user needs.
Scan Results and Acceptance
After the scan is complete, the system displays the measured values. The operator must review these values and click "Accept" to finalize the stock addition. Upon acceptance, the stock is considered added to the workstation.
